Volunteers at the Washington Dulles International USO Airport Lounge had the distinct honor of rolling out the red, white and blue carpet for more than 20 World War II veterans as they marched into Normandy, France for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. On Monday, June 3, three World War II veterans, Clifford Stump, 94, Gordon D. Monson, 91, and Harry Miller, 91, shared their war stories with some Northern Virginia high school students over lunch.
