FORT CARSON, Colo.---The Liberty Bells visited the USO of Fort Carson on Monday to perform a variety of patriotic and military songs.

The USO band sang the national anthem; Andrews Sisters Medley; At the military parade, they sang "God Bless America" ​​in addition to songs from each branch of the military and other songs.

Based out of New York City, the group tours military installations around the world, performing patriotic songs from World War II and modern hits like Rascal Flatts' "Bless the Broken Road."

"It's amazing to see military sites," says Liberty Bells singer Andre Garner. "It's really nice to say thank you to all of our staff members."

Garner was joined by Natalie Loftin Bell, Melissa Vanpelt Johnson and Nancy Emerson. All Liberty Bell performers are Broadway or off-Broadway performers who audition to join the group, according to the group's website at http://www.usonyc.org under the "about us" link.

The performers were at the USO, with many people clapping and singing along during the show. After the concert, the band spoke to and took photos with the surviving soldiers and family members.

"It was an opportunity for the soldiers to connect with really talented players from all over the world," he said.
